Billionaire businessman and Tesla CEO Elon Musk branded on Thursday the latest statements by United States President Donald Trump as "an obvious lie" as the social media clash between them worsened. Responding to the president's threat to terminate his government contracts, Musk briefly commented, "Go ahead, make my day."
The entrepreneur retweeted a post by another X user that the operation of the International Space Station would be in jeopardy if Musk's contracts with Washington were cut.
Musk continued his criticism of the president from earlier today, saying that Trump falsely claimed he was familiar with the spending bill.
