Elon Musk at the World Governments Summit in Dubai announced that he partnered with the United Arab Emirates to develop the Dubai Loop, a high-speed underground road system, to be developed by The Boring Company.

Musk described the system as "like a wormhole," where passengers can instantly travel between city sections. He said it would be "cool and exciting" and that "it's gonna be so obvious in retrospect."

The Dubai Loop will resemble the Las Vegas Loop, which Musk's company developed to shuttle visitors quickly through underground tunnels.
