Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk plans to spend about $45 million a month on a newly created super political action committee (PAC) backing former United States President Donald Trump's campaign, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Earlier, it was reported that Musk already donated a "sizeable" amount to the pro-Trump super PAC. The organization, headquarted in Austin, Texas, aims to encourage people to register as voters and vote early in person, or by mail.
Musk openly endorsed Trump's 2024 presidential bid in the aftermath of the failed assassination attempt on the ex-president on July 13 in Pennsylvania.
