X Corp. Chairman and Tesla Inc. and SpaceX Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk tweeted on Thursday that The Walt Disney Company's head Bob Iger "should be fired immediately."
"Walt Disney is turning in his grave over what Bob has done to his company," Musk added. He went on to slam Iger and Disney for not pulling their advertisement from Meta Platforms Inc.'s applications after New Mexico's authorities filed a case against that company, accusing Facebook and Instagram of facilitating child sexual abuse.
Disney previously temporarily withdrew its advertisement content from X, formerly known as Twitter, after Musk expressed alleged antisemitic views.
