Musk: First human receives Neuralink implant

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, founder and owner of Neuralink Corp., in a post on X, formerly Twitter, stated that the first human received a Neuralink implant.

Musk went on to say that the patient "is recovering well." He concluded his post by sharing that initial results show "promising" neuron spike detection. In a later post, Musk revealed that the first Neuralink product is called Telepathy.

In September of last year, he announced that Neuralink would implant a device in the brain of its first human patient.
