Twitter Chairman Elon Musk revealed that the "platform hit another all-time high in user-seconds last week."
He made the announcement hours after clarifying that the social media network introduced only a "temporary emergency measure" to block unregistered users from accessing the Twitter web version.
"Several hundred organizations (maybe more) were scraping Twitter data extremely aggressively, to the point where it was affecting the real user experience," Musk explained the reason behind the move in another tweet.
