Billionaire Elon Musk shared on Friday, while replying to a user on X, that CrowdStrike has been removed from all of the systems, without specifying which one of his companies he was referring to.
Previously, reports surged that cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike was under a cyberattack that caused a massive IT outage across the globe.
CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz later debunked the rumors, claiming that the incident was not caused by a cyberattack. "The issue has been identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed," he went on to say. Meanwhile, Microsoft Corporation CEO Satya Nadella wrote in a social media post that "CrowdStrike released an update that began impacting IT systems globally," adding that the two companies are working to provide "technical guidance" to customers.
