Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk shared on Friday on X that the social media platform, previously known as Twitter, will be getting a "major update" for its recommendation algorithm.
According to the billionaire, the changes, which will help "surface smaller accounts and posts outside of your friend-follows network," will roll out over the next few days.
"As always, this will be made open source and undergo continuous improvement," Musk went on to say.
