North Korea's Foreign Minister Choe-hui had a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko in Pyongyang, the KCNA reported. The state media didn't elaborate on what they discussed, though the talks come amid Ukraine agreeing to a 30-day ceasefire.
Rudenko also met with North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jong-gyu and they discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral cooperation in line with the strategic partnership between their two countries.
Last month, North Korea boosted its troop presence in Russia to a total of 12,000.
