NATO's Stoltenberg to attend UNGA next week

NATO Secretary General Jen Stoltenberg will travel to the United States on September 18 to attend the United Nations General Assembly, the alliance's press service said on Friday.

NATO noted that Stoltenberg will stay in the US until Thursday, September 21 and stressed he will attend the opening of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, as well as the discussion at the Council on Foreign Relations and the Transatlantic Dinner hosted by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The NATO chief is also set to hold meetings with several "world leaders and high-level officials."
