New York Governor Kathy Hochul stated on Wednesday the investigation has so far found "no indication of a terrorist attack" in the car explosion that occurred on the Niagara Falls International Rainbow Bridge between the United States and Canada.
Speaking at a press conference, Hochul said the vehicle in question was almost completely destroyed. "The pieces are scattered over 13, 14 booths so it is a large scene," she remarked, adding the vehicle went at a high speed and that likely caused the crash.
Earlier, it was reported that the police found no explosives in the vehicle that exploded.
