Ethnic Armenian authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh reported on Tuesday that 25 people, including two civilians, were killed in the ongoing offensive by Azerbaijan in the region. Twenty-nine civilians and 138 people in total were wounded, according to the report.
On the other hand, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that it took over 60 combat positions of the Armenian military and that it neutralized up to 20 combat vehicles, up to 30 mortars and over 40 artillery installations in today's operation.
Elsewhere, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Washington had previously made it clear in conversations with Baku that "the use of force to resolve disputes is unacceptable" and called for an immediate halt to the offensive. Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock earlier also joined the criticism of Baku's actions.
