The Nasdaq 100 turned to red after starting Monday's trading session higher with the report of United States President Joe Biden's administration seeking to reduce Intel Corporation's grant for semiconductor making to less than $8 billion seemingly diminishinh investors' interest in technological companies such as Applovin Corporation, Nvidia Corporation, and Netflix Inc.
The Nasdaq 100 declined by 0.20% at 12:49 pm ET. A minute later, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.64% or 281 points. The S&P 500 stood flat.
The euro increased by 0.68% against the dollar at 12:57 pm ET to sell for $1.04852.
