South Africa's Naspers will list its internet assets on Amsterdam’s Euronext bourse on July 17, the media group announced on Wednesday.
Naspers said it is planning to retain 73% in the yet-unnamed vehicle, which will house the company's 31% stake in Tencent Holdings Ltd., Mail.Ru Group, Swiggy, and its other internet businesses. THe listing new global consumer internet group is expected to reduce significant structural barriers for Naspers.
"The planned listing of our international internet assets on Euronext Amsterdam is progressing well, and we believe that it will present a new and attractive opportunity for global tech investors to access our unique portfolio," Naspers CEO Bob van Dijk said in the press release.
