The share of battery-powered vehicles sold in Norway over the past year jumped by nearly 15 percentage points to 79.3%, the Norwegian Road Federation (OFV) said in its registration data made available on Monday.
Tesla Inc.'s cars had the largest EV market share in 2022 at 12.2% for the second consecutive year, followed by Volkswagen's 11.6%. The increase comes as Norway prepares to end the sale of vehicles that utilize petrol and diesel by 2025.
