Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed on Monday that the executive order on banning the United Nations (UN) Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) become effective immediately, local media reported.

The Middle Eastern country decided to ban the UNRWA from all Israeli-controlled territories over the agency's alleged links to Hamas.
