Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel and United States President Donald Trump share a "common strategy" on Gaza.
Netanyahu made the remarks after a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He said he discussed with Rubio "the bold vision" that Trump has for Gaza's future, and added that he and Trump are working closely together on the situation.
Trump had previously sparked controversy with his proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, suggesting the region could become the "Riviera" of the Middle East with US oversight of the territory.
