Netanyahu to depart for Washington on Sunday

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington on Sunday for talks with United States President Donald Trump, his office confirmed.

The statement noted that Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader to meet with Trump since the start of his second term. "At this historic meeting, the two leaders will discuss Gaza, the hostages, dealing with all components of the Iranian axis and other main issues," it added.

Reports indicate that the two leaders will first hold a work meeting during the day, followed by another discussion in the evening at the White House.
