Netanyahu willing to meet DeSantis in Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday he would be willing to meet Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during the Republican's trip to Israel next month.

"Of course, I'll meet with everyone, why not? I meet with Republican governors and Democratic governors. I'm not avoiding the question, and actually, I'm rushing right into it. I'd meet with every American representative, governor, senator, and member of Congress," Netanyahu told CBS.

DeSantis' visit will come at a critical moment for both the Florida governor and Netanyahu. DeSantis is expected to officially unveil his presidential election bid in the coming weeks, while Netanyahu is facing a domestic crisis prompted by announced judicial reforms that met severe backlash from the public.
