Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that any rulings by the International Criminal Court (ICC) will not impact Israel's actions in the war in Gaza .

"While decisions made by the court in the Hague will not affect Israel’s actions, they will set a dangerous precedent that threatens soldiers and public figures of any democracy fighting criminal terrorism and dangerous aggression," Netanyahu stressed in a post on social networks.

Furthermore, the prime minister underlined that he will not tolerate any attempts of the tribunal to "undermine its [Israel's] fundamental right to defend itself."
