The Palestinian militant group Hamas' armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, said on Wednesday that three Israeli hostages were killed in Israel's "previous" shelling in the Gaza Strip.
However, the group did not disclose any other information regarding the incident or when the alleged shelling in the Palestinian enclave occurred which it associates with the deaths of the three captives.
Since the beginning of the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, there have been accusations that both parties violated the humanitarian pause agreement. Yesterday, the Israeli Defense Forces revealed that its soldiers clashed with the Palestinian militant group after explosive devices were detonated near its troops in two different locations in northern Gaza.
