Netanyahu: Military threat only way to stop Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told CNN in an interview that only a credible military threat can stop Iran from obtaining nuclear power.

Netanyahu claimed that Israel has been successful at slowing down Iran's nuclear program, but not at stopping it completely and that a military threat is the only solution to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He cited previous examples where Israel destroyed nuclear reactors under construction in Iraq and Syria, and where Libya abandoned its nuclear program due to military threats from the US.

Netanyahu repeatedly emphasized that Israel will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and is ready to use military force alone for this purpose.
