Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised on Saturday to learn from the tragic incident in Gaza where three hostages were mistakenly killed by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Despite the tragedy, Netanyahu emphasized the necessity of continuing the IDF ground operation against Hamas, asserting Israel's fight for existence. "We are fighting for our existence," Netanyahu said, "and we have to continue until victory" despite international pressure and the losses the country is suffering.
Netanyahu's remarks come after it was reported that the three hostages mistakenly assassinated by the army on Friday were carrying a white flag and were shirtless.
