New Israeli attacks on Iran reported, response coming

A new wave of Israeli strikes on Iran has begun, with explosions heard across the country, Iranian media reported on Saturday.

As per Tasnim News Agency, Iranian air defense systems intercepted flying objects in Tehran, Hormozgan, Kermanshah, and West Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Fars News Agency mentioned that small drones have been shot down in the city of Bandar Abbas. Tabriz, in the northwest of the country, was also allegedly struck.

Meanwhile, according to Iran's state TV, "heavy and destructive attacks" by Tehran against Israel are expected "within hours."
