California Governor Gavin Newsom told Politico he does not plan to challenge President Joe Biden's reelection in 2024.

Newsom said he told "everyone in the White House, from the chief of staff to the first lady" that he will support Biden's second term. "He not only beat Trump once, I think he can beat him again," the governor added.

Earlier in November, former President Donald Trump announced his White House bid, as Biden said he plans to finalize his decision by early next year.
