Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley will speak at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee. The announcement came Sunday, confirming Haley's addition to the schedule.
Haley, a former primary rival of Donald Trump, will take the stage following an incident at Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman attempted to assassinate him, injuring his ear.
Haley, who served as South Carolina governor, was initially not listed as a speaker. Her spokesperson, Chaney Denton, previously stated that she was not invited. Despite tensions during the primary, where Haley criticized Trump and refrained from endorsing him until May, she released her 97 delegates to support Trump and called for party unity.
