Nintendo Co. Ltd. revealed on Thursday that its next Switch handheld console will be released later this year. The company did not provide extensive details on Switch 2, saying that more information will be available at its next Nintendo Direct event on April 2.
Nintendo said Switch 2 will run exclusive games, as well as physical and digital games released for its predecessor, although it warned some games for the first Switch console might not be supported or fully compatible.
