No evidence boosters harm immune system - Fauci

There is no conclusive data that would suggest that repeated inoculations against COVID-19 can impact the effectiveness of the immune system, White House Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci stressed on Monday.

During an event hosted by World Economic Forum, Fauci underlined the importance of vaccination in terms of reducing the number of hospitalizations and deaths.

Moderna Inc. CEO Stephane Bancel, who also participated in the event, announced that the company will come out with data on its Omicron-specific booster shot in March.
