United States National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby told reporters on Tuesday that Washington has not seen any indications that Beijing has violated sanctions related to Russia.

Commenting further on the reports that Russia is buying military equipment from North Korea, Kirby noted that the US is yet to confirm whether the purchase has occurred, adding, nevertheless, that "our sense is it could include literally millions of rounds, rockets and artillery shells."

Lastly, when asked about the developments on the Iran nuclear deal, Kirby shared that "there is still quite a bit for our diplomats to do [on the matter]" as certain gaps in talks have still not been resolved.
