Noem: Russia using Arctic fleet to surveil US

United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem stated Monday Russia is using its icebreakers in the Arctic to perform surveillance on the US.

Noem made her remark during a meeting with President Donald Trump and other members of his cabinet. She stated that Washington will step up its efforts to secure the country's interest in the Arctic region.

Meanwhile, expert delegations from the two countries are currently meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where they are discussing a range of technical issues, including a potential Ukraine ceasefire. The consultations have been ongoing for more than nine hours.
