Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide (pictured) announced Monday that his country will lead a meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution on Wednesday at Oslo City Hall.
The gathering will include Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammed Mustafa, UN Special Coordinator Tor Wennesland, UNRWA Director-General Philippe Lazzarini, and representatives from over 80 nations and organizations.
Eide emphasized the importance of self-determination, security, and justice for Palestinians and Israelis, urging stronger international efforts to rebuild Gaza and strengthen Palestinian governance. This Oslo meeting, the third since the alliance's start, will take place amid reports of significant progress in a potential hostage-ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
