Nvidia's most advanced AI chip from the new Blackwell series will be delayed by 3 months or more due to "design flaws," The Information reported on Monday, citing unnamed sources.

The report further stated that Nvidia has already notified Microsoft, as well as another major cloud service provider, about the delay. On its side, Google has placed an order for more than 400,000 BB200 chips.

The "design flaws" were discovered during the later stages of production, the media added.
