Nvidia crashes 13%, hits lowest level since October

Nvidia Corporation stock plunged to its lowest level since October 2024 on Monday following news that Chinese company DeepSeek had developed a competitive artificial intelligence assistant. The news fueled sharp declines on Wall Street, raising concerns that the breakthrough could shift interest toward Beijing, America's largest economic rival.

The company's shares plunged 13.26% to go for123.6400 apiece at 9:33 am ET.
