Nvidia led the gains in the market session on Wednesday jumping over 6% as investors eye the upcoming GPU Technology Conference (GTC) to kick off next week in San Jose.

According to the analysts with JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Citigroup Inc., the recent dip in the tech darling's shares presented a buying opportunity, with hopes still vested in strong AI-driven growth. The market is also expecting Nvidia to provide more details on its next-gen Rubin chip.

The chipmaker's shares added 6.06% at 1:54 pm ET to sell for $115.2750.
