Nvidia overtakes Apple as world's most valuable firm

Nvidia Corporation surpassed Apple Inc. as the world's most valuable business by market capitalization, the Companies Market Cap website showed on Tuesday.

According to the calculation, Nvidia's value is estimated at $3.431 trillion. Apple's market cap is, at the moment, evaluated at $3.377 trillion. The switch at the top previously happened very briefly earlier in the day.

Nvidia's shares declined by 0.16% in Tuesday's after-hours trading to sell for $139.69.
