Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an evening address on Friday that Ukrainian officials must "do everything" to ensure that the people have a normal living standard, even in wartime circumstances.
"Officials must do not just everything possible, but much more than even possible, to guarantee people a normal standard of living even in such wartime conditions," he underlined.
Yesterday evening, a senior United States Defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told reporters that the country is set to send another military aid package to Ukraine worth $400 million, which would round up the total aid figure to around $7 billion since the beginning of the war.
