Oil prices fall 1% on demand worries

Crude oil prices dropped on Wednesday as weak business activity data in Europe stirred concerns about the commodity demand in the region.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for October contracts fell 1.04% to sell at $78.82 per barrel, while Brent for the same month's settlements dipped 1.01% to $83.16 a barrel at 6:01 am ET.
