The prices of oil futures grew on Wednesday as investors still assessed the consequences of the change of power in Syria and the reactions in the region to it, such as in Israel and Iran. Meanwhile, it was reported that United States President-elect Donald Trump considers solving the conflict in Ukraine a higher priority than the one in the Middle East.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for January's deliveries increased by 1.09% at 4:37 am ET to sell for $69.34 per barrel. A minute later, Brent for February's settlements rose by 1.05% to go for $72.94 per barrel.
