OpeanAI released an early version of GPT-4.5 on Thursday, marking its most advanced AI model yet.

"We're releasing a research preview of GPT‑4.5—our largest and best model for chat yet. GPT‑4.5 is a step forward in scaling up pretraining and post-training," the company said in a blog post, adding that the update enhances recognition, reduces hallucinations, and improves instruction-following.

Compared to its predecessor, GPT-4o, the new model exhibits a 62.5% factual accuracy rate (up from 38.2% in GPT-4o) and a lower hallucination rate of 37.1% (compared to 61.8% in GPT-4o), making it OpenAI's most reliable model yet.
