OpenAI is reportedly exploring the idea of developing a humanoid robot, insiders told The Information on Tuesday.

However, sources underlined that pursuing the idea is not a top priority for the company. Instead, the primary focus remains on enhancing advanced reasoning models and developing an AI agent designed to streamline and automate a wide range of software engineering and data analysis tasks.

Earlier this year, OpenAI joined forces with humanoid robot maker Figure, integrating its advanced AI models to power the company's robotic systems.
