Oracle Corporation and Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched Monday Oracle Database@AWS, which will be a collaboration that integrates Oracle's Autonomous Database and Exadata Database Service within AWS.
In a statement published simultaneously with its earnings report for the first quarter of 2025, Oracle said that the partnership aims to "simplify" cloud migration and enterprise workload deployment while enhancing security and flexibility. Customers will be able to access Oracle's database services on AWS infrastructure, allowing "seamless connectivity" between Oracle databases and AWS applications. The integration offers a "unified experience" in database management, billing, and support. It also enables fast, secure data analysis across both platforms.
"This new, deeper partnership will provide Oracle Database services within AWS to allow customers to take advantage of the flexibility, reliability, and scalability of the world's most widely adopted cloud alongside enterprise software they rely on," AWS CEO Matt Garman said.
