More than 29,000 people have been evacuated from Ukraine and the Donetsk and Lugansk republics to Russia over the past 24 hours, Russian national defense center head Mikhail Mizintsev said at a Saturday briefing.
"Despite all the difficulties created by Kyiv, over the past 24 hours, without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities, 29,252 people, including 3,922 children, have been evacuated to the territory of the Russian Federation from dangerous regions of Ukraine and the Donbas republics," he said.
Yesterday, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Representative Office revealed that Ukrainian troops attacked Yelenovka in the DPR, firing five shells with a caliber of 122 mm.
