A total of over 620 individuals, including dual citizenship holders and some wounded, will be allowed to depart from the Palestinian Gaza Strip on Friday, the Rafah border crossing authorities reported on social networks. Earlier, the crossing's spokesperson Wail Abu Omar told RIA Novosti that over 400 people passed through the border on Thursday.
The Palestinian border authority released a roster containing the names of individuals who have been granted permission to depart. The list is categorized into separate groups: United States passport holders, who make up the majority, along with United Kingdom, Italian, German, French, and Mexican passport holders. The US previously reported that 74 of its citizens left the enclave on November 2.
This marks the third day that the border crossing will open for restricted evacuations as part of a deal mediated by Qatar involving Israel, Egypt, Hamas, and the US.
