Palestinian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Saturday condemned a settler attack in Masafer Yatta, calling it an act of "ethnic cleansing" and urging international intervention.
The attack, which took place Friday in the occupied West Bank, left five Palestinians seriously injured. The ministry said Israeli forces protected the settlers during the assault, describing it as part of a broader effort to expel Palestinians and expand settlements. "This represents one of the most egregious forms of ethnic cleansing targeting Palestinians," the statement read.
The ministry warned that such actions undermine prospects for a Palestinian state and violate international law. It called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate steps to hold Israel accountable and enforce its resolutions.
