Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh (pictured right) claimed that Palestinian territories are under "colonial military occupation with a hideous apartheid regime" and urged the international community to call for an immediate ceasefire amid Israel's attacks on Gaza.
"The international community must stop dealing with Palestine with double standards," Shtayyeh stated during a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen (pictured left) in Ramallah. "Everything Israel does in the Palestinian territories is a violation of international humanitarian law," he asserted.
Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ruled out the possibility of a ceasefire but branded allegations that his country is violating international law "hogwash."
