Peloton's co-founders step down

Peloton Interactive Inc. announced on Monday that its co-founders John Foley and Hisao Kushi are leaving the company.

The two abruptly resigned together with another top executive, after CEO Barry McCarthy announced a new business plan for the company. Foley's resignation is effective Monday, while Kushi is expected to leave his post on October 3.

"Through their hard work, they have given the world the connected fitness industry and created a platform that empowers each of us to be the best version of ourselves. We are indebted to them for their countless contributions," McCarthy stated.
