Vice President Mike Pence said during his speech at the annual meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee on Monday there is possibility that the United States will move its embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
"The president is giving serious consideration to moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem," Pence told the largest pro-Israel group in the UDS. The relocation of the embassy is one of the promises Trump's team reiterated during his 2016 campaign.
Israelis and Palestinians both claim Jerusalem as their capital.
