Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday that the use of cluster munitions by Ukrainian forces changes the situation in the special military operation.
During his regular morning press conference, Peskov added that using such munition will also cause Moscow to take countermeasures. "What kind of countermeasures? This is exclusively the prerogative of the Ministry of Defense," Peskov said.
His words follow similar remarks by Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, who a day before asserted that the Russian army would be forced to retaliate similarly.
