Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Russia does not represent a threat to Europe, rather the European Union poses a threat to Russia.

Speaking at a press briefing, Peskov claimed that the EU countries are NATO members "which is moving with all its military power towards our borders," stressing that this is a serious threat to Moscow.

Peskov's comments come after the Czech President Petr Pavel stated that all EU militaries are getting ready for a possible high-intensity conflict with Russia.
