Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressed on Monday Moscow's readiness to engage in the third round of negotiations with Ukraine, while noting that Russia is still waiting for concrete proposals on the timing of the talks.
In addition, Peskov stated that Russia proceeds from the fact that the United States still supplies weapons to Ukraine, although he didn't clarify how this would affect Moscow's negotiating position. "A lot has been said about the high cost and so on, now it seems that these supplies will be paid for by Europe," he said.
Peskov also commented on the tensions with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the Baltic Sea, accusing European coastal countries of pursuing "aggressive policies." He called Estonia's military drills involving live fire an attempt at "escalation."
